Head of Accounting & Finance (HAF)

Reporting to VP & Chief Finance Officer your job among others is to

· Be fully responsible for the accuracy and completeness of:

· all financial books, records and reports,

· implementation of proper internal controls and establishment of appropriate safeguards of company assets,

· correct and timely payment of taxes and other government levies.

· Provide accurate and timely financial information internally and externally including regulatory reporting,

· Monitor and ensure that all closing entries under Canadian and local GAAPs are performed properly and correctly during month end and quarter end closing,

· Ensure that all reports are accurate, complete and on time.

To be able to excellently perform the duties above, we strongly believe that you should

· be a certified accountant and holder of a Bachelor degree in Accounting, preferably with Masters’ degree in Business

· have an experience in Life Insurance accounting with at least 5 years in managerial position

· be 28 – 40 years of age

· have the knowledge of system / general ledger implementation

· possess the knowledge of various accounting principles e.g. Canadian, US and local GAAPs

· master the accounting principles and practices in insurance industry and financial service industry

· deeply understand the tax laws and regulations

· have the ability to contribute to the setting up of policies, guidelines and procedures

· be result oriented

· keep your commitments

· systematically plan & organize your work

· be analytical as well as a Problem Solver

· have excellent communication skills

· be able to influence and work with people

· be able to hold people accountable, building people capability

· have the capacity to coach and develop others

· understand and implement the Performance Management System

Others:

· You will be stationed in Jakarta
